Mini-Grant Guidelines

Purpose: The MorrisCounty 4-H Association Board of Directors will provide funds that would benefit the clubs of the MorrisCounty 4-H program.

Goal: To provide MorrisCounty 4-H Clubs with an opportunity to enhance their programs through educational experiences.

Objective: Each club that operates in good standing according to state guidelines will have the opportunity to submit a proposal for an amount up to $50.00. This Mini-Grant request must have direct benefit to all the children that are currently enrolled in the

4-H club, whereby each child of said club would benefit from this Mini-Grant. The purpose must have an educational foundation.

Committee: The committee for approval shall consist of the MorrisCounty 4-H Association’s Board of Directors. Proposals will be voted upon at a general Board of Directors Meeting.

Procedure: The club leader and club president would need to complete a Mini-Grant Proposal Form. In order to expedite the approval process, proposals should be received by the first of the month in order to facilitate processing. The form can then be presenting to the committee for approval. Notification of the decision will be mailed. In addition, in order to adhere to our bylaws, we request that we receive receipts for use of the money within 30 day after the receipt of the money.

Criteria for Selection: The decision of the MorrisCounty 4-H Association Board of Directors will be based on the completeness of the Mini-Grant Proposal Form with careful consideration for the rationale and the objectives of the proposal.

Other Information: The allotment for the year that was approved by the Board of Directors will be $1,000.00. Club leaders may request as many grants as they wish, but considerations will be given to balance the number and types of grants awarded to all MorrisCounty 4-H Clubs.

Please forward proposal to: MorrisCounty 4-H Association, Inc.
