CONGRATULATIONS to Ethan Schlepp!!! His essay about stopping violence sponsored by the Montana Board of Crime Control is among the top ten state finalists!

THERE WILL BE A gentleman in the library tomorrow during lunch to give a presentation about going into the construction trades.

CLOSE UP meeting tomorrow at 8:00 AM in the Library.

MHSA AWARDS ceremony will be held in the High School gym on May 4th at 6:00 PM. This is awards for all MHSA approved activities which include 9-12 Football, Volleyball, Speech and Drama, Golf, Track, Cheer, and Basketball. If you were in any of these please attend the ceremony to receive your awards or certificates. Parents and friends are encouraged to attend also. Booster Club will provide dessert and drinks.

HS AWARDS will be on Thursday May 4th at 1:00.

STUDENTS: Please pay off your Close Up Breakfast charges. Anything not paid off will be added to your fines at check out.

BRIDGE BUILDING: Students interested in participating in Bridge Building can stop by Mrs. Collin’s room and pick up supplies. Bridge Building contest will be on May 16th at 10:00.

MRS. K. HANSON still has caramels in her room for sale! Stop by for a great treat! Mother’s Day is coming up!

SENIOR TRIP: Students will leave for their Senior Trip on Saturday. You will leave at 4:30 AM. You must be at Mrs. B’s room at 4:00 AM for a bag check. You must have all your candy money turned into Mrs. B, and you must be academically eligible to go on the trip.

TEACHERS: As school is winding down to an end this year, please be thinking about fines/fees for students. As soon as you have any, let the students know and bring a list to Amy.

VOLUNTEERS are needed for the Castle Museum from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Weekly and on-call positions are available. Happy to write letters for community service, and it looks good on college applications! Contact Sheryl McGuire at 547-2210 or 547-4374.

RAY PHILLIPS SCHOLARSHIP application deadline has been extended to April 30th. The application is in your email inbox. Please check your email.

SCHOLARSHIP: Any seniors interested in applying for a $500 scholarship for Cattle Women can see Ms. Anderson, Ms. Hurley or Ms. Shane.

JH TRACK will travel to Townsend tomorrow. The meet will start at 3:30. The bus will leave at 1:45 PM.

TRACK TEAM will travel to Bozeman on Saturday. The meet will start at 9:00 AM. The bus will leave at 6:15 AM.

GOLF TEAM will travel to Harlowton on Saturday. The meet will begin at 10:00.The bus will leave at 7:45 AM. *NOTE THE CHANGES!

CASUAL DAY SCHOLARSHIP is due to Bank of the Rockies on May 2nd.

SAFE SITTER: Registration for safe sitter is from now until May 1st. It is on a first come, first serve basis. Spots are limited so pick up an application from the Meagher County Health Department soon! Safe Sitter is a class designed for students in 6th-8th grade learning how to be home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. The class is in Saturday, May 6th from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
