Morning Announcements 10-19-17
New:
- Happy Homecoming Week: There will be lunchtime activities in front of ASB all week. Thursday is “Support Your Troops Day,” Camo Wear or Military Wear! Show your class spirit and dress up all week!
- The Homecoming Parade is Friday, October 20th at 2:30. The route is Main Street and Geil to Old Town and Gabilan.
- There will be no Homework Center this Thursday for math and English. The Homework Center will begin again on Monday.
- There will be a boys Lacrosse meeting on Tuesday, October 24th at lunch in the ASB room. If you are trying out or returning you need to be at the meeting.
- The Homecoming Dance is Friday after the football game. The cost is $10 with ASB/ $12 w/out. The VIP Lounge is $6. We are planning on a Taco truck and DJ Ram, The VIP Lounge will include special food, candy bar, and soda bar (unlimited). The dance concludes at midnight. Tickets go on sale on Monday in front of ASB! Guest will be admitted but you must have the guest pass turned in by Thursday!
- Friday is big football game for the Cowboys. Come watch the undefeated in league Cowboys take on Monte Vista. JV at 5, Varsity at 7:30. The King and Queen announcement takes place at halftime.
- The next food fair will be on Halloween Day (October 31st). The ASB will begin accepting fund-raising request forms on Wednesday, October 18th at 8:30 in ASB. Hand your request form directly to Mr. Dover. That is the only way to assure you have your food item.
- Picture re-takes for all grades and for late senior pictures will be Thursday, October 26th during the 1st four periods of the day. If you do not like your photos (you are getting them back at the beginning of next week), you can bring the entire package and retake your photo.
- Impact testing date sign-ups are now on the athletic website under eligibility forms. These are the only dates that will be available before the start of try-outs.
- ASF will be in the Career Center on Monday, October 23rd at lunch. All students interested in studying abroad or hosting a Foreign Exchange Students should attend. All interested come to the Career Center, room 302.
- The following colleges will be in the Career Center this next month: Sign up in the Career Center for a pass!

- Attention seniors who have participated in the Migrant Education Program at any time in school: You may qualify for the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP). The following universities will be in the Career Center to discuss the CAMP Program. November 1st – Fresno State (9 am-12), November 3rd –CSUMB (11-11:45), November 3rd - Sacramento State (12-12:45)
