Good Morning USC families! February is just around the corner. Here is what we have going on in February at USC.
Monday, February 3:USC High and Low Test Day
Good luck to all of our skaters trying their tests on this day. ALL regularly scheduled classes will be cancelled this day with the exception of ADULT SKATE at 9pm.
February 8-14 Red, white and Pink week!
Love is in the air! Wear red, white and pink, or any combination of the three, to skating this week!! What a colourful week it will be! Show your Valentine spirit out on the ice. Happy Valentine's day!
Monday, February 17:Family Day holiday
No classes today while everyone celebrates Family day! ENJOY
USC FUN day! Originally this was scheduled for February 22. It has been moved to Saturday March 29. Parents, we will be distributing registration forms at the end of February. This is an exciting day of fun activities on the ice for our skaters! Stay tuned.
Spring Skating classes start Tuesday April 22nd and run to Friday May 31st. If you have not already registered online for Spring classes, it is timeto do so, and avoid disappointment.All sessions have vacancy at this time.
Children's Fitness Tax Receipts 2013Those who made payments through the Skating Club officecan pick up their Children's Fitness Tax Receiptsanytime after February 15th. Those who paid through Paypal can retrieve their receiptsthroughtheir online registrations. Please see Marg in the office if you are having any difficulty retrieving your receipt(s) on line.
Starskate Skate Canada Test Days. After February 3rd, our next set of testsare scheduled for April 14th forLow Tests and April 17th for High Tests. Please mark these dates on your calendar and keep the day(s) open.Any conflicts with these dates must be reported to the Test Committee 3 weeks in advance of the scheduled tests, not when the schedule is posted. Test times are scheduled around the availability of theSkate Canada judges assigned.

Synchronized Skating news
Our four teams took to the road last weekend and made a big splash at Synchro Capers in Oakville! Congrats to all of the teams, they came home with 3 medals! This weekend is Regionals and we wish them good luck once again.
Our Intermediate team, Momentum, will be representing USC at the National level in Burnaby, BC this month. Go Sparkling Ice and Momentum!!
