CHARTER SCHOOL POLICY / TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Cedars International Academy open-enrollment charter school will provide transportation to each student attending the school to the same extent Cedars International Academy is required by law to provide transportation to school students. (TEC §12.109)

An open-enrollment charter school must provide transportation for a student with a disability if the student’s IEP includes transportation as a related service. Transportation includes travel to and from school and between schools; travel in and around school buildings; and specialized equipment such as special or adapted buses, lifts, and ramps.
