1.  General rules regarding advertising creatives.

1.1  Advertisement on smartphones

For smartphone type devices advertisements are displayed on mobile versions of the GWB services. Advertising forms dedicated for those devices are listed in pt. 2.

It is admissible to use advertising materials in the following formats:

-  jpeg/gif/png graphics

-  HTML5 code

-  asynchronous display code

-  asynchronous hit count code

1.2  Advertising on tablets

For tablet type devices advertisements are displayed on desktop versions of GWP services.

The basic advertising forms available on tablets are described in pt. 3. Furthermore, there are additional advertising forms available on specified services, e.g. on the GWP homepage. These forms are described in the desktop specification.

It is admissible to use advertising materials in the following formats:

-  jpeg/gif/png graphics

-  HTML5 code

-  asynchronous display code

-  asynchronous hit count code

1.3  Advertising in applications

The advertising forms available in IOS/Android applications are described in pt. 4. Broadcast exclusively through GWP codes, creatives in the form of jpeg/gif/png graphics, 3rd party codes are not accepted.

Additional hit counts may be conducted only using pixels.

1.4  External communication

It is prohibited to implement mechanisms which track user interactions.

It is prohibited to implement mechanisms which download additional content from the user’s websites without consulting the WP group.

1.5  Video

Video materials for mobile advertisements (Rectangle 3d, Video preroll, Videobreak, other advertisements containing video) should meet the following requirements:

Format: mp4 (aac + h.264 profile: baseline, level: 1.3) webm (vorbis + vp8)

Resolution: 512x288

Size: preroll up to 2MB, other up to 1.5MB

1.6  Targeting

For mobile campaigns the following targeting is available:

Mobile web:

-  declarative data (for logged in users: gender, age, education, trade, interests)

-  behavioral groups

-  device information (Device Atlas)

Mobile app:

-  application version

-  application view

-  connection: WiFi or 2G/3G/4G

-  geo-targeting: geographical longitude and latitude based on the GPS module

1.7  False creatives

It is prohibited to practice the use of operating elements in advertisements, whose function arising from the form, caption or convention does not correspond with the communication, or operates in an unusual manner. Especially, it is not admissible for advertisements to incorporate basic system buttons, window minimizing and closing icons, which operate in a manner other than arising from their typical function; it is prohibited to broadcast advertisements in the form of system messages/prompts and warnings.

Buttons incorporated in advertisements must carry out functions which correspond to the prompts represented on them, e.g. buttons which imitate the functions of a form, drop-down list, selection field may not cause redirection to the customer’s website or any other operation which does not correspond to their standard function.

1.8  Other Information

A 1px wide frame around the advertisement is required in cases, where the creative features a white or transparent background which is in any way directly combined with the edge of the creative.

In the case of creatives which require assembly on the side of GWP (e.g. full-screen interstitial or rectangle scroller), a set of materials should be provided at least 5 working days before broadcast commencement.

2  Advertisements on smartphones

2.1  Banner

Dimensions: 320x50, 320x75, 320x100, 300x50, 300x75, 300x100

Size: up to 25 kB

Operating system: IOS, Android, Windows Phone

2.2  Scalable Banner

A scalable banner is a wide advertisement form, whose dimensions are scaled to the display dimensions.

Dimensions: 600x200

Size: up to 40 kB

Operating system: IOS, Android, Windows Phone

2.3  Inscreen

The Inscreen is a banner type advertisement form, attached to the bottom edge of the display. The advertisement is scaled to the available width and is displayed only for portrait orientation.

Dimensions: 600x60

Size: do 20 kB

2.4  Adhesion

Adhesion is a layered advertisement displayed over the user interface. The advertisement has two states: expanded and folded. The folded state has a fixed dimension of 320x50, while the expanded state depends on the advertisement variant.

Required materials:

folded creative: 320x50, 25kB

expanded creative: 320x370, 40kB

2.5  Interstitial

The Interstitial is a layered form displayed over the service’s content. By default the creative appears centered in its original dimensions.

The Interstitial type creative may be divided into several areas and each of them may redirect to a different target website. Additionally, the set of target addresses may be different for the portrait and landscape layouts.

2.6  Interstitial slider

Interstitial slider is a set of interstitial type advertisement toggled by a left/right motion or with a predefined delay.

Dimensions (every creative):

320x358 (portrait)

480x208 (landscape)

Size: up to 30kB

Operating system: IOS, Android

2.7  Interactive Interstitial

The Interactive Interstitial is a more complex form of the Interstitial type advertisement, adjusted to the needs of a specified campaign. Examples of additional functionality include:

-  accelerometer reading (shake to view the advertisement)

-  video display

-  additional animations

-  influence on the service layout/content

The maximum size of the creative is 100kB and up to 1.5MB for video.

Due to the need to adjust the creative, a set of materials and scenario of the creative’s operation should be available at least 5 working days before the start of the campaign.

The interactive Interstitial requires assembly of the creative by GWP.

2.8  Full-screen Interstitial

The Full-screen Interstitial is a layered form displayed over the service’s content and scaled to the dimensions of the screen. This type of Interstitial is displayed exclusively vertically (portrait). Due to the necessity to adjust the creative, a set of materials should be provided at least 5 working days before the start of the campaign.

The customer should send the psd file in the proportions below, which will be assembled and adjusted by GWP.

2.9  Rectangle

Dimensions: 300x250

Size: up to 40 kB

Operating system: IOS, Android, Windows Phone

2.10  Rectangle slider

The Slider is a set of rectangle type advertisements toggled by the left/right (swipe) motion or with a predefined delay.

Dimensions (each creative): 300x250

Size: up to 40 kB

Operating system: IOS, Android

2.11  Rectangle multiclick

The Rectangle multiclick is an advertising form which contains several active areas. When clicked, each of those areas may open a new target website or interstitial.

Size: up to 40 kB

Each of the additional interstitial creatives must meet the requirements of pt.2.5

2.12  Rectangle scroller

The Rectangle scroller is an advertising form which contains two scrolling areas with additional graphics. Both scrolling columns should contain 3150x130px graphics. Each of them may link to a different target website. There is a possibility to change the number of graphics according to the Customer’s needs.

Dimensions:

Creative’s heading: 300x120

Scrolling graphics: 150x130

Optional scrolling arrows: 28x130

Size: up to 25 kB heading, up to 15 kB graphics, up to 5 kB arrows

Operating system: IOS, Android

The Rectangle scroller requires assembly of the creative by GWP.

2.13  Rectangle 3d

The Rectangle 3d is an animated cube displayed in the location intended for the rectangle. Every side includes a graphic and optionally a video clip.

Dimensions:

Top, bottom, front, back: 300x250

Left and right side: 250x250

Size: up to 40kB graphics, up to 2MB video

Video format: H.264 MPEG-4

Operating system: IOS, Android od 4.0

The Rectangle 3d requires assembly of the creative by GWP.

2.14  Expand/reveal

The Expand/reveal are expanded advertising forms displayed in place of the upper banner. Expand after unfolding obscures the website’s content, while reveal pushes the content down.

Dimensions: expanded 320x480, folded from 320x50 to 320x100

Size: up to 40 kB

2.15  Mobile Native Ads

The Mobile native ad is a mobile advertisement, whose style is generated per service. It enables adjustment of the advertisement’s appearance to specific views. The MNA advertisement consists of an image, text and link.

Materials:

Graphics – 300x216px, 40kB max

Text – 70 characters (including punctuation marks)

2.16  Anchor Ad

The Anchor Ad is a banner type advertisement displayed at the bottom of the browser.

Dimensions: 320x50, 320x75, 300x50, 300x75

Size: up to 25 kB

Operating system: IOS, Android, Windows Phone

The advertisement is loaded only when the browser is scrolled for at least 300px.

2.17  Glonews

Glonews is the branding of the GWP mobile homepage. It involves the addition of an advertisement tab which switches the top entry to a maximum of 5 rotating advertisement panels.

Each of the advertisement panels consists of:

-  a small graphic with the dimensions 320x200px, max 40kB

-  optional title up to 14 characters

The advertisement is transmitted exclusively in the Flat Fee model. On the first transmission day the advertisement is visible immediately, on other days it appears in the tab

Due to the specific nature of the advertisement 3rd party hit counts may only be performed using pixels.

Glonews requires assembly of the creative by GWP.

2.18  Video Preroll

The Video Preroll is an advertisement transmitted before video content posted on GWP services.

The customer should provide a file containing the video material which meets the requirements specified in pt. 1.5.

The materials sent are checked and optimized by the WP group. Due to the required optimization of materials, the creative should be sent at least two working days before the planned transmission.

2.19  Link txt

Link txt is a text advertisement transmitted within the content of a selected service. The customer should provide the content of the ling, no more than 40 characters long, and a target address.

Optionally, together with the advertisement text it is possible to include a 150x100 graphic of no more than 20kB.

2.20  Mobile e-mail advertisement

2.20.1  Login box

Dimensions: 300x100

Size: up to 25 kB

Operating system: IOS, Android, Windows Phone

2.20.2  Full page login

The Fullpage login is a full-screen branding of the mobile e-mail login page.

The customer should provide 2 creatives with a maximum size of 50kB: one for the portrait view and one for the landscape view.

Portrait – 640x560 graphic + a 60px high gradient which overlaps the creative

Landscape – 570x690 graphic + a 60px wide which overlaps the creative

Both graphics must include a transition to a solid background color – on the bottom for the portrait and on the left side for the landscape view. The colors may be different for the given display orientations.

With the creatives the customer should provide the background color in the HEX notation (e.g. #ff0000).

The Fullpage login requires assembly of the creative by GWP.

2.20.3  Mailing

General information.

Mailing advertisements are sent only to users of free WP or O2 e-mail accounts, who have consented to receiving e-mail advertisements. This means, that advertisements will be received only by persons who have knowingly accepted it.

The sending of mailing advertisements is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the rendering of electronic services act dated 18th of July 2002 (Journal of Laws 2002, 144. 1204).

Mailing advertisements are delivered to users when they receive e-mail from their inbox during the effective period of the mailing service. Mailing advertisements may be aimed at a specific group of recipients by a targeting mechanism. The waiting time for downloading the sent e-mails from the e-mail server as a standard is 28 days (in case of earlier termination of the mailing service, please include such information in the order).

All graphic elements of mailing advertisement in HTML format should constitute appendices to the e-mail and will be downloaded with the e-mail from the server.

·  Format: text file or HTML (with graphic elements)

·  Coding type: ISO-8859-2

·  Basic size – 50 kB of text or HTML (including graphic elements and appendices), more available at a charge according to the current price list.

·  Necessary materials: the sender’s name, address and e-mail, subject and e-mail content

·  Information for the mailing footer:
