TDSP Updates

AEP –

  1. Processing Update (slow/late/large volumes) – Normal
  2. Planned system outages / maintenance –No planned outages
  3. Issues affecting more than 1 CR or entire market (examples could include: re-bill efforts, synchronization) – Bud Craft reported the following: Please be advised that AEP will disable all outbound transactions to ERCOT during the planned outage this weekend by ERCOT. AEP will send all held transactions to ERCOT on Sunday (12-10) at the conclusion of the outage. All Incoming messages from ERCOT and all point to point messages from CR's will be unaffected. Please refer any questions to your account representative in AEP’S Competitive Retailer Relations group or via email to .

CenterPoint –

  1. Processing Update (slow/late/large volumes) -Normal
  2. Planned system outages / maintenance –No planned outages
  3. Issues affecting more than 1 CR or entire market (examples could include: re-bill efforts, synchronization)–Monica Hadley reported the following: Due to scheduled outage of ERCOT’s systems on Friday, December 8 – Sunday, December 10, 2006 where all transactions that go through ERCOT will not be forwarded to the TDSPs, the Joint TDSPs (AEP, CNP, TNMP, and TXU ED) request that all CRs would make sure that they send all their transactions to ERCOT no later than end of day Thursday, December 7, 2006. This may mean more frequent batch operations on both the CR and TDSP to ensure transaction delivery and response of all requests have been communicated prior to 8:00 AM Friday. We are requesting this consideration to assist the TDSP’s with automatically scheduling EDI transactions, especially those Move-In requests that are scheduled for Monday of the next week, vs. managing the manual Safety-Net process, along with minimizing negative customer impacts.

For those Move-In requests received by the CR after 8:00 AM on Friday, December 8, 2006 during the outage that are requesting the same day or the next business day (Monday, December 11, 2006) service connection the CR should follow the normal Safety-Net process. Since MarkeTrak will be unavailable during this outage any cancellation request that would normally be issued via MarkeTrak should be communicated either email or telephone call to your CR contact at the appropriate TDSP.

If you need additional information or have questions, please contact your CR REP Relations contact for the appropriate TDSP.
