MINUTES OF THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING OF VILLAGE OF WARNER HELD IN THE VILLAGE OF WARNER ON JULY 16TH, 2014

ATTENDANCEMayor Tyler Lindsay, Deputy Mayor Danny LeCain, Councillors Ian Glendinning, Sandi Hedin,

Staff CAO Hood, Municipal Clerk Kim Owen. No residents attended this meeting.

OFFER TO PURCHASE

OLD VILLAGE AMBULANCEVillage Fire Chief Rick Carlson was present to discuss an offer to purchase the old Village Ambulance from Alert Safety Services and to offer guidance to Council with regards to a letter from Warner Foods requesting permission to sale fireworks.

Village Council instructed the CAO to reply to the letter from Warner Foods that they will review the request and along with the Fire Chief develop a bylaw on the sale of fireworks within the Village of Warner.

Meeting with the Town

Of RaymondCouncillor Hedin provided council members with an update on the July 15th meeting with the Town of Raymond.

Meeting with the County

Of WarnerDeputy Mayor LeCain provided Council members with an update on the July 15th meeting with the County of Warner.

7th Avenue Drainage

Project Council was also advised that the 7th Avenue Warner drainage project was completed.

Flying Club

Council also discussed a funding request from the Flying Club – the Village of Warner has been under taking necessary maintenance issues at the airport this year (crack filling & line painting) instructed CAO Hood to write a letter requesting the Flying Club to provide Village Council with a budget on how these funds requested would be spent.

064 – 14Council members discussed the options and decided on charging each tax roll number $13.00 per month for the period of 20 years also agreed to charge those individuals or businesses outside the Village boundaries that are currently receiving water from the Village`s system to also pay $13.00 per month for 20 years. This will be added to the monthly utility bills.
