1.APOLOGIES: Cllr Smith gave apologies, she is on holiday.
2.DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST RELATING TO ITEMS ON THE AGENDA: Cllr Worboys declared an interest in 3047, the applicant is known to them.
3TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 1st September 2015: Cllr Cox PROPOSED acceptance of the Minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 1st September 2015, Cllr Ashcroft seconded. IT WAS AGREED.
4.RESOLUTION TO ADJOURN THE MEETING FOR UP TO 15 MINUTES FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO SPEAK ON MATTERS RELATING TO BUSINESS BEING TRANSACTED AT THIS MEETING: Cllr Cox PROPOSED adjourning the meeting to allow Members of the Public to speak to items on the agenda, Cllr Hill seconded. IT WAS AGREED.
Two Members of the Public spoke about planning application 3047.
Cllr Cox PROPOSED reconvening the meeting, Cllr Ashcroft seconded. IT WAS AGREED.
5.TO COMMENT ON THE FOLLOWING PLANNING APPLICATIONS:
No 3047PF/15/1185Mr S McDermott, 5 Meadow Way, Sheringham.
Proposal:Erection of one single-storey dwelling to rear of site at 5 Meadow Way, Sheringham.
Comment:Objections on the grounds of the lack of visual splay of Meadow Way from Holt Road, the glazed roofing light spillage onto neighbouring properties and the tandem development of the site which will set a precedent and is out of keeping in this area.
No 3048PF/15/1216Mr S Holmes, Barsham Securities Limited, Branford House, 8a Hungate, Beccles, Suffolk.
Proposal:Demolition of swimming pool building, change of use of specialist school building to residential dwelling and erection of 4 detached dwellings at 15 Hooks Hill Road, Sheringham.
6.ANY OTHER PLANNING MATTERS:
(a) TO DISCUSS FURTHER THE REQUEST FROM CORNERSTONE PLANNING TO MAINTAIN THE AMENITY SPACE AT HILBRE AND BUTTS LANE/HOLWAY ROAD DEVELOPMENTS:
The Chairman gave a brief background on the recission made on the 1st September regarding this matter and gave information on possible costs for maintenance works. After a brief debate Cllr Cox PROPOSED that a decision is not made tonight and it is deferred until the October full council meeting, Cllr Farley seconded. IT WAS AGREED.
7.REPRESENTATION OF STC’S COMMENTS AT THE NEXT NNDC DEVELOPMENT CONTROL MEETING:
Cllr Cox PROPOSED the Chairman represents STC’s comments at the next NNDC Development Control Meeting for planning application 3047, Cllr Ashcroft seconded. IT WAS AGREED.
