01 / Welcome and Apologies for absence
Meeting was opened at 7.40pm. Cllr. Mr Jones offered a warm welcome and a happy and prosperous New Year to those present. Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs. Mr Goodwin and Mrs Wyatt and post meeting Cllr. Mr Steed.

Police Newsletter received and circulated.

05 / To approve the Minutes of the meeting held on Monday 13th December 2016
It was proposed by Cllr. Mr Fletcher, seconded by Cllr. Mrs East to approve the minutes of 13th December 2016, 5 votes in favour.

07 / To Receive Borough/County Council Reports
Green bin collections will recommence at the end of January; the County Council has agreed to finance the £25,000 that would have been spent. New calendars have been sent to all properties with a flyer to those properties with incorrect information. Schedules of collections are on the Borough Council website. The circumstances surrounding the accident near to the Green in Chapel St were explained, no-one was injured and the driver of the grit lorry is ok. The County Council to liaise with the Clerk with reference to the destroyed bench and plaque next to the bus stop. BCllr. Mrs Bragg to liaise with WCC about the wooden bollards at Clayhill Lane triangle. Gritting routes will be questioned on behalf of the Parish Council as Holbrook Rd and Round Ave are not covered every time gritting is carried out. / BCllr. SB

08 / Management/Finance & Administration
a) CCTV letter to BCllr. Mr Poole – Cllr. Mr Jones – It was confirmed that the Borough Council and the County Council have pulled out of the agreement to provide CCTV technical support etc. This is now proposed to be carried out with support from WCAVA with an offer of any support it can offer, other than financial, by the CSP at Borough Council level. Maintenance to be provided by Quadrant. Wolston Cllr. Mr Bob Granger and the Wolston Clerk will liaise on behalf of all the Parish Councils involved when a final agreement is reached for signing by all Parish Councils, expected in March 2017.
b) POD Removal Costs – Meeting will be held by the Long Lawford Community Association on 19th January. Costs to move the POD will be confirmed.
