MINUTES OF THE DOWNTOWN CITIZENS ADVISORY PANEL

I.  Welcome: The meeting was called to order by Regina Zara at 4:52 p.m.

II.  Consideration of the Minutes from 9-28-2015 Meeting: Ray Pickersgill motioned to accept the minutes of the September 28, 2015 meeting, and Dennis Smith seconded the motion. All members present approved the motion.

III. Correspondence: Zara reported that Susan Von Freddi sent a Press Release from Senator Kenneth LaValle and Assemblyman Fred Thiele announcing they had secured $1 million for Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays.

IV. Old Business: The December 7th tour of Sayville is being coordinated by Kay Cameron. Zara will email the details to the Panel.

V.  New Business:

A.  Zara reviewed the Round 14 proposed Application and Guidelines. Barbara Russell suggested making some changes to the order of Budget items on the Budget page. Barbara Russell made a motion to accept the Round 14 Timeline, Application as amended, and Guidelines as corrected. Bill Garthe 2nd the motion. The motion passed.

B.  Zara presented the 2016 meeting schedule to the Panel explaining that it provides more time for the Panel to review applications and to have more time for all the approvals required. She explained that the August 29th meeting will only be held if needed. Barbara Russell motioned to approve the meeting schedule, Ray Pickersgill 2nd the motion. The motion passed.

VI. Give and Take: Zara thanked the Panel members for their time and for coming to the meeting on such short notice in light of the importance of the agenda items.

VII. Public Portion: None at this time
