Minutes of the 97th meeting of the Committee Constituted for Deciding the Consent under Orange Category, held on 30.01.2009 in the Conference Room of Chairman, DPCC.

The following persons attended the meeting:

In addition to above, Sh A.N. Singh Scientist, Deptt. of Environment and Trainees of CMCs also attended the meeting for assisting the CMC.

Following decisions were taken in the said meeting:-

Agenda Item No. 1- Personal Hearing of Uday Estate Pvt. Ltd. 6, Alipur Road, Ganpati Apptt Civil Lines, Delhi-54

This is the clear case where both CMC-II and CMC-III have willfully misrepresented before the CMC and affected the credibility of CMC. A written warning to the both the EEs not to deceive CMC or conceal information from the CMC be issued. This written warning will be issued by MS, DPCC within one week.

The unit was called for personal hearing and it confirmed that it applied for Consent to Establish on 10.10.2008. By this logic, it comes under the category of 19 cases, where concessions have been granted and not in the category of 06 cases where Consent to Establish has not been filed. Accordingly, with the same conditions imposed on 19 cases, it may also be extended the same facilities immediately. Confirmation may be placed before CMC on 02.02.2009. Call on 02.02.2009

Agenda Item No. 3- Construction Project Case

Agenda Item No. 4- Matter of 514 units in descending order in respect of waste water discharge upto 1000 Lt/day out of about 6000 pending consent applications.

Decisions taken with respect to 70 cases of this agenda are tabulated and annexed as Annexure – 3. The remaining cases of this agenda could not be taken up for want of time and it was decided to take up the same in the CMC meeting to be held on 02.02.2009.

Table Agenda Item No 1: PWD Rehabilitation and Retrofitting Division, CW-131, D-II/13-14, Kidwai Nagar (E), Delhi.

Consent to Establish granted subject to the conditions that unit will install the STP of full fledged capacity of at least 42 KLD. This is being done for the Common Wealth Games Projects, which is monitored by Chief Secretary, Delhi every month.

Table Agenda Item No 2: The list of five star hotels where notices for ISO 14001 were issued be placed before CMC on 02.02.2009 to take a decision on reminder to be issued to these units.
