Minutes of the 10° Wp2 meeting – 4May 2017, virtual meeting

The following Agenda was scheduled for the meeting :

1)State of the art of pilot implementation

2)Indicators to be published on the ESSnet wiki

3)Deliverable: state of the work

4)Any other business

For each Agenda item the following major points were discussed and related decisions were taken :

1)State of the art of pilot implementation

Monica asked to each participant to report about the most relevant updates on their work.

Jacek said that he is working on social media and on job vacancies pilots. He will also begin to work on the testing of Istat SW for URL retrieval.

Matthew said that he is finishing the pilot about e-commerce and will send the pilot document in the next days.

Monica reminded to all that it is important to complete the pilot documents by mid May.

Galya reported that she already sent all the 4 pilot documents regarding 3 use cases (e-commerce, social media, URL inventory by using Bulgarian SW and URL inventory by using Italian SW). She also said that in the next days they will use the remaining Italian SW that Donato made recently available, the first results are expected by the end of May.

Monica replied that if needed it is possible to update the already sent pilot documents and said that Olav also sent the pilot document. Monica said that Istat read the Swedish paper about the work they are carrying on and will provide some comments and consideration about the technological and methodological aspects; it will not be possible to reproduce the same operations due to the fact that the used data cannot be shared and the use of other data (in Italian) can be misleading in this particular work.

2)Indicators to be published on the ESSnet wiki

Monica made a recap of the proposed indicators to publish on the project wiki.

Jacek said that it would be necessary to add also a methodological note and an additional indicator about the purpose of the presence of the enterprises on social media.

Monica agreed and asked to the participants if they also agree and can provide all the proposed indicators.

All the participants agreed and said that they can provide the requested indicators.

Monica asked Jacek to send her a list of the possible purposes of the presence of the enterprises on social media.

Jacek said that will send to Monica a mail with the list that can be modified if necessary in the future.

3)Deliverable: state of the work

Monica said that Istat will make available in the next days a template for the deliverable to be filled with the parts coming from each project member (Bulgaria already provided its contribution).Moreover it is important that all the appendixes to the document have to be filled by the mid of May. Due to the fact that the deliverable has to be send to the review board by mid June it is advisable that all participant finish their part by the first week of June in order to have enough time to assemble the final version of the document and make it circulate.

4)Any other business

Monica suggested to schedule the next WP2 face to face meeting for the first week of October. Jacek replied that it would be better to use the second half of the week and proposed Thursday5 and Friday 6. All other participants agreed on the proposed dates.

Monica asked to other participants if they were available on 31th May for the next virtual meeting. After a short round table it was decided to schedule the next WP2 virtual meeting on 31th May at 10:00 CET.

  • Istat has to upload on the project wiki all the pilot documents already available
  • Istat has to send to the other participants a recap mail with the discussed indicatorsto be published on the wiki
