The Chairman formally thanked the outgoing Clerk, Mrs J Cockerton for 16 years service to the Council and Parish of Sutton St James and presented her with a picture, gift voucher and flowers. The Councillors and attending public AGREED with the chairman also expressing their thanks.

County Cllr W Webb had contributed monies via the Big Society Fund and District Cllr M Seymour had contributed from his Designated Budget to the Village Hall Footpath. .

Cllr C Griggs contributed the labour for the edging.

A Rose supplied labour and a tractor to prepare and spread the gravel for the village hall car park

A certificate has been received which will be displayed in the Village Hall and the Parish Council Notice Board. Cllr C Griggs to activate.

9/4/14COUNTY COUNCILLORS REPORT

Cllr W Webb reported that LLC has been able to retain the Precept at last year's figure but this is expected to rise in 2015. LCC was complimented on its excellent refuse collection service.

10/4/14DISTRICT COUNCILLORS REPORT

Cllr M Seymour was pleased to report that SHDC was able to reduce its Precept for the year 2014/2015.

  1. All documents files and equipment relating to the Parish Council have been received
  2. TO REQUEST consideration to dispose of all boxes containing correspondence and minutes and financial papers prior to 2008 in accordance with Statutory Guidelines
  3. TO REQUEST consideration to attend LALC Audit Workshop on 7th May at Sleaford, Cost £7.00
  4. TO REQUEST consideration to subscribe to LALC Annual Training Scheme, cost £70.00, for a year to refresh Clerk's training
  5. TO CONSIDER the Parish Council Webb Site, Clerk to extend current Domain and investigate LCC Parish Webb Site
  6. TO REQUEST updated Charles Arnold Baker, Local Council Administration book from SLCC cost £75.00 plus delivery
  7. Clerk has requested copies of the Notification of Change of Ownership of the allotments and copies of the alleged outstanding invoices
