MATTERS DISCUSSED

UPDATING OF DATABASE AND ACTIVITIES

Boss suggested that the STAROBA 84 be divided into regions by electing a representative for each region.

Midi suggested that a secretariat be appointed to up the datebase of the group and to appoint a leader for every region. Nevertheless, everybody in the group in every region must update the leader on any information obtained about the members.

He also suggested that a task force group be set up to update all the information and activities.

Haider suggested that the database of the group be kept by Jinoh and agreed by the rest of the member. Jinoh will act as a central committee for database updating.

Chikun suggested that the regions have their own gathering and activities.

Shukoq suggested that the region be divided into four as follows :

Northern-Kedah, Perlis, Penang

Perak

Central-K.Lumpur, N.Sembilan, Malacca, Johor, Sabah, Sarawak

Eastern-Pahang, Trengganu, Kelantan

Enormously, the members of the meeting had agreed that the following members be the leader for each respective region :-

a)Northern-Shukoq

b)Perak-Mamak

c)Central-Azmi

d)Eastern-Kandaq

As for the task force group, it will be lead by Nik.

As the newly appointed task force head, Nik and as agreed by the members, set 18 August 2001 as the next date of meeting in order to get the ball rolling. Besides that, he also suggested that a weekly meeting be held as an open discussion among the members at every region.

Chikun suggested that dormant members in the group be identified and send them a email. He also suggested that the group get the assistance from Jamal Jamaluddin of Radio Era (Batch 80) to trace back all the other members. Suggested Nizaq to contact Jamal for the matter.

Midi suggested that authority be given to the task force leader to make decision and this was agreed by the members of the meeting.Before the meeting ended, every member was given a chance to tell briefly about his life after school.

The meeting was adjourned at 1.45 am. The next meeting will be held on 18 August 2001 at Restaurant Hijau at 2.00 pm
