SC 17/05.1/6 Planning:

Cornwall Council list of Application;

PA17/03992: Mr and Mrs Doey, 1 Heatherdown Cottages Stoke Climsland Callington Cornwall PL17 8PZ; Rear extension and re-modellling. It was noted that this is only a small conservatory. It was proposed by P Barriball and seconded by C Vulliamy that this application is supported. All agreed.

PA17/04238: Mr Richard Choroszewski, Higher Sherwell Farm Sevenstones Callington PL17 8HU; Certificate of existing lawful use of buildings and car parks by freight forwarding business. There was a discussion about what this application entailed. The Parish Council was concerned that the enforcement on lack of planning applications for the recent building work would halt if the certificate was issued. It was felt that, in supporting this application, this would give a green light to any business that is possible to avoid planning issues. It was also noted that the business employs some 90 people. The clerk was asked to speak to the planning officer to find out what happened to the enforcement notice and bring this back to the next meeting.

Enforcement:

Refusals, Approvals and Appeals:

APP/D0840/W/16/3157875: Mr And Mrs T M Peart, Land Between 1 Park Hill And Braemar Higher Downgate Callington Cornwall: Erection of 2no. two storey detached houses; one with three bedrooms and garage; second with four bedrooms, including new access to lane with associated landscaping and parking. It was noted that there had been no change. The C Vulliamy pointed out that two large sections of hedge would have to be removed in order to give access to the new properties. This development would be purely commercial.
