- Chair calls telecon to order 13:02 ET
- Roll call – Chair Peter Ecclesine (Cisco Inc.),Charles Cook (Qwest), Dan Lubar (RelayServices), Eldad Perahia (Intel Corporation), Scott Blue (SensibleRadio),Doug Chan (Cisco Systems)
- Chair reviews proposed telecon Agenda and modifications and asks for approval of same
- Hearing no objections, the telecon agenda is approved.
- Chair asks: "Are you aware of, and understand the IEEE patent policy? If not refer the correct section or IEEE Patcom URL: ”
- Chair asks: “..does anyone not understand the IEEE patent policy?" No reply is heard
- Chair asks: “Are there matters regarding essential patent claims that the WG chair should be made aware of?” No reply is heard.
- Chair briefly reviewed the comment validity rules and obligations. He asked if there were any questions. No reply is heard.
- Chair discussed comment 104 from Clint Chaplin. Chair suggested that we make elevate the D7.1 11.11.2.2 last sentence in a) to be a separate step. No objection is heard.
- Chair discussed comment 86 from PeterE, which includes a sentence to be inserted into Annex I.1. Chair suggested a rewording of the second paragraph of Annex I.1
Change the second paragraph as shown:
The documents listed in Table I.1 specify the current regulatory requirements for various frequency bands and geographic areas at the time this standard was developed. They are informative, and are provided for information only, and are subject to change or revision at any time.
- No discussion or objection to the change in D7.1
- Chair discussed comment 56 from Brian Hart, which asks for adding “Extensible” column to Table 7-26, and suggests “Identify DSE reg and ECSA as extensible”. A result of the other comment resolutions approved 19 Feb is that neither DSE reg not ECSA is extensible. Chair suggests changing CID 56 resolution status to accept in principle. No discussion or objection to the change.

Move to change D7.1 text resolving CIDs 86 and 104 per 26 Feb teleconf discussion, and instruct the technical editor to prepare P802.11y draft 8.0.
