Pursuant to clause 1.10 of Resolution No 1482 of 27 December 1999 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuaniaon “The appointment of institutions authorised to approve compulsory product safety requirements” (Official Gazette, 1999, No 114-3304; 2000, No 48-1393; 2002, No 64-2588) I hereby:

  1. A p p r o v ethe compulsory safety requirements for fire fighting and rescue equipment, fire safety equipment and fire prevention methods and automated fire fighting equipment (enclosed herein).
  1. E s t a b l i s hthat pursuant to the compulsory safety requirements approved byclause 1 of this Order, compliance of fire fighting and rescue equipment, fire safety equipment and fire prevention methods and automated fire fighting equipment (hereinafter called “fire equipment”) shall be subject to testing as follows:

2.1.As of1 December 2008 –fire equipment to be re-evaluated for compliance,

2.2.As of1 February 2009 –fire equipment to be tested for compliance for the first time.
