Millard South is proud to invite you and your students to our 3rd annual “Squashfestival” to be held October 29th, 2016. We plan to offer new novice debate students (including coaches and judges) the chance to sit in on workshops and also to be critiqued in practice rounds-all in one day! We hope to provide your team this unique opportunity for years to come.

This isn’t truly a tournament--as students will not be ranked, but they will receive rating points on their ballots (in speech events). They will get feedback on what they are doing and the chance to win a lovely red, white & blue ribbon for each superior rating that the judges give. Ribbons will also be awarded to the “winning” teams in each practice debate round.

In addition to providing work experience for your novice debaters, we will also need the services of your veteran team members to serve as judges. Seniors are great, we love Juniors (as long as they’ve been doing this for a while) and even Sophomores (if coaches think they have enough info to pass along). Millard South Debate is super excited to host our debate community!
