Instructions for Brady IDXpert

Label Printing from a PC

1” x 1.25” x 0.5” self laminating cable Labels

Install cartridge type XSL-103-427 in Brady IDXpert label printer.

Connect to laptop with USB cable.

Press Menu, then Nxt soft key three times, then PC soft key.

At Parallels connect popup select Virtual Machine.

The printer driver is only available for Windows OS, so transfer text file to Windows in Parallels.

Open file with Notepad.

Select all the text in the file. Go to Format->Font and select Ariel Regular 7pt.

To center labels with two lines of text, add carriage returns as needed to provide one blank line between each set of label text. Make sure there is a blank line at the top of the page before the first label entry.

Go to File->Page Setup and select XSL-103-427 for the paper size.

Set the margins to: L & R 0.05, Top & Bottom 0.01.

Orientation: Landscape

Go to File->Print. Select the printer Brady IDXPERT.
