-The mid-term assessment will count as a regular test grade for the second quarter.
-Since there will not be a separate Chapter 7 test, the mid-term assessment will have more questions devoted to Chapter 7 material than the other chapters that will be more equally represented.
-The mid-term assessment will have a two part format: about 35-40 multiple choice questions and one open response. The open response question will cover probability.
-The class will gather their past tests and quizzes from their classroom file in order to use them to review.
-I will update the Lesson Practice pages on the classroom website to be used for review.
-Our classes next Monday-Wednesday, December 13-15 will be used for reviewing topics for the mid-term assessment.
If you have any questions in this last week prior to the assessment, please don’t hesitate to ask. I will be available before and after school as usual for informal review of materials.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kathy M. Donelan
