In Microsoft-sponsored research last year, survey respondents reported on what cloud-based BI solutions their organizations were using or planning to use. Cloud-based databases, CRM and data visualizations tools, were the most common tools currently deployed. Common solutions planned to deploy in the next 12 months were data-heavy including: predictive, advanced, and mobile analytics.
