Administrator-level access to the Microsoft Office 365 admin center is required for all of the following Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online account administration activities, and only an administrator can call the billing and support team to make changes that can’t be made online. Change your company name

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  Locate your company name at the right side of the page.

3.  Choose the company name.

4.  Fill in the updated information and choose save.

Note: you can’t change the domain name without creating a new account and recreating your CRM Online instance. Contact billing support if you need assistance. Custom or vanity domains can be added to a tenant using the Domains option.

Change your address

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  Locate the company name at the right side of the page.

3.  Choose the company name.

4.  Fill in the updated information.

5.  Choose save.

Note: This will only change the address associated with the tenant. It doesn’t change the address associated on a billing level. To change the address associated at the billing level, go to Billing > Subscriptions > Edit service Usage Address.

Change a billing administrator

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  Choose users and groups.

3.  Select the box next to the user who will become the billing admin.

4.  Choose edit. You’ll see the user profile.

5.  Choose settings and assign the role.

a.  If you see the message, “Do you want this user to have administrator permissions?” select Yes and select the billing administrator from the drop-down list.

6.  Choose Save.

Change payment frequency

You can change the frequency of your payment by using the admin portal only at subscription renewal time.

If you want to request a change before renewal:

1.  Call billing support.

2.  Wait while the support agent puts your subscription in a “cancelled – reduced functionality” or “expired” state. Don’t worry, your users will still be able to use their services during this time.

3.  While on the phone with the service agent, purchase a new subscription and, during checkout, choose the payment frequency you want to switch to.

4.  After you complete these steps, your payment frequency will be changed and your users will continue to have the same license assignments as before.

Change payment method

Available payment methods are invoice and credit card.

Please note that you can’t change your method of payment without cancelling your existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM subscription and setting up a new one. This will change your subscription term duration.

1.  Call billing support.

2.  Wait while the support agent puts your subscription in a “cancelled – reduced functionality” or “expired” state. Don’t worry, your users will still be able to use their services during this time.

3.  While on the phone with the service agent, purchase a new subscription and, during checkout, choose the payment method you want to switch to.

4.  After you complete these steps, your payment method will be changed and your users will continue to have the same license assignments as before.

Change your payment method at subscription renewal

During subscription renewal, you can move from credit card to invoice payment but not from invoice to credit card. Please contact billing support if you wish to change from invoice to credit card payments at subscription renewal time.

Find an invoice or billing statement

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  Choose Billing and then choose Bills.

3.  Complete the filtering options and select view.

4.  Choose View Details; choose the blue down arrow to open additional details.

Note: You must be a Global Administrator or Billing Administrator to see the invoices.

Open an invoice or billing statement

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

5.  Choose Billing and then choose Bills.

2.  Complete the filtering options and select view.

3.  Choose View Details; choose the blue down arrow to open additional details.

4.  Choose View Invoice (.pdf).

View your billing history

You can also use this page to view your billing history. When you view billing history you can:

·  See a history of the charges on your account. You can view charges for the current billing period and previous months.

·  See all the orders for a given charge in a billing period. An order includes one or more subscriptions that you have purchased, such as an Office 365 plan, or a service, such as SharePoint Online.

·  See detailed information about each order, such as the cost of each subscription and the unit price and number of licenses.

·  Access the official PDF invoice for your orders.

Print an invoice or billing statement

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  Choose Billing and then choose Bills.

3.  Complete the filtering options and select view.

4.  Choose View Details; choose the blue down arrow to open additional details.

5.  Choose View Invoice (.pdf).

6.  Right-click within the invoice and select print or use the printer icon.

Convert a CRM Online trial subscription to a paid subscription

Follow these steps to convert your 30-day trial subscription to a paid Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription:

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  Choose Billing > Subscriptions.

3.  Choose your trial subscription and then choose Buy now.

·  Under Optional add-ons, you can add more storage, instances, and additional posts.

4.  To continue, choose Check Out.

5.  Review your purchase, and choose Next.

6.  Select a payment type. You can’t change the payment type after the purchase.

Credit Card

·  You can pay for a year up front or monthly.

·  To see the credit card invoices, you must be a global or billing administrator.

·  Your credit card will be charged up front.

Invoicing

·  You must meet the invoicing threshold for the invoicing option to appear. In US dollars, the minimum amount in the US is $500, in India $50, for the rest of the world $250.

·  You can pay for a year up front or monthly.

·  To see the invoice, you must be a global or billing administrator.

·  Your invoice will be billed up front. You should receive the first invoice notification within 24 to 48 hours after signing up.

·  If the transaction is over $15,000 (monthly or annually, depending on the invoicing period), the transaction is put on hold and you’ll receive a credit application. After you submit the application, it may take 2 to 3 days to process. If your credit is approved, the transaction can proceed.

Enterprise Agreement

·  Follow the normal volume licensing purchase process.

7.  Review the legal agreement, sign it, and choose Next.

8.  Review the order details, and then choose Place Order > Continue.

9.  For provisioning to complete, at least one user must be assigned.

·  In the Office 365 admin center, choose users and groups.

·  Select the user who added the CRM Online subscription, and then choose Settings.

·  Verify that the option for administrator permissions is set to Yes and the drop-down list shows the Global Administrator role selected. Choose Save.

·  Go back to the Office 365 Admin center page.

10.  You should now be able to manage your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription.

Update credit card information or add a new card

Follow these steps to update your credit card information or add information about a new card:

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  Choose Billing > Subscriptions, and then select your subscription.

3.  On the Subscription details page, under Payment details, choose Edit.

4.  In the Change payment details wizard, choose a credit card.

To add a new credit card, choose New credit card.

5.  Update the information and then choose Next.

Add users to your CRM Online account

Each user license requires a unique user ID, and every user who signs in to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online needs a license. When you add a user to your subscription, that user is automatically assigned one of the licenses you purchased.

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  On the Admin page, click or tap Users > Active Groups (this page will allow you to add, delete, restore and view every activity happening by cloud users and groups for Office 365).

3.  Choose the add button (+) to add a user

4.  Complete the details of the user being added to the Microsoft Office 365 community.

5.  Fill out any additional details options as needed, and choose Create.

6.  Choose the new user and select Edit.

7.  On the Settings options, if you want to give administrator permissions to the user, choose Yes.

8.  Select the Admin type from the dropdown that you want to assign to the user.

9.  Add an alternative e-mail address (if needed) and confirm if Sign In Status is required.

10.  Choose Save.

Cancel a CRM Online subscription

A cancellation of a subscription can be done through the Admin portal. Any registered admins can do this by following these steps:

1.  Sign in to the Office 365 admin portal.

2.  On the Admin page, choose Billing > Subscriptions (this page will display all the subscriptions associated to the tenant).

3.  To cancel a particular subscription, highlight the subscription and then under Actions select Cancel Subscription.

4.  The disable date and the data deletion date will be confirmed. Select Next.

5.  Provide some feedback as to why you are canceling your subscription.

6.  Once you’re satisfied, select Cancel Subscription.

If you have any concerns about cancelling your subscription, call Billing and subscription support at the phone number for your country or region.

Before you call, have the following information ready:

i.  Billing administrator's Microsoft account and password.

ii.  Organization URL and name.

iii.  The day on which you want your subscription to CRM Online to be terminated.

You should have also made the following decisions:

i.  Do you want to keep your existing data? If so, you can export it to Microsoft Office Excel. For more information, see Export Data to Excel.

ii.  Do you want to keep any Internet Marketing service campaigns running? If you're not the person who signed up for the marketing service, you must work with that person to cancel or maintain it.

Apply for a credit due to an outage
