Dear All

Pursuant to its successful mid-project workshop in Berlin on April 27th, 2015, the FP7 MATFLEXEND consortium ( has the pleasure of inviting you to its

One-dayend-project workshop

MICRO BATTERY AND CAPACITIVE ENERGY HARVESTING MATERIALS

Sept. 19th, 2016 @ Univ. Vienna, Facultyof Chemistry, Institute of Materials Chemistry and Research

Währinger Str. 42, A-1090, Vienna

We will discuss energy harvesting including device issues - i.e. putting our mechanical harvesters into a general industrial context, materials that make up said device, productionas well as usage issues(such as cleaning and electrical connectivity in a textile wearable) again in an industrial context, as described in the attached project flyer, and in an article in IMPACT magazine, also attached.

We intend this workshop to be as interactive as practical, in particular by including device and materials end users, and we will, therefore, provide an extensive round table discussion and a poster session.

Moreover, asindicated in the attached article, we took advantage of openly accessible publications. Accordingly, wewill discuss how some specific approaches towardsopen-access, including current EU initiatives, may concretely lead to more innovation - open or non-open - and preferably in industry.

We hope that this and other discussions will lead to follow up byindustry, which will be diligently pursued from our side, as part of the workshop package.

If interested, please fill in the attached registration form, and e-mail it back to .

Very best regards, and hoping to see you in Vienna
