MESSAGE FROM THE PREZ

We are Tooting our Horn, from the fun time at Kennywood to a fantastic turnout at our Singles/New Membership Dance we are going and growing strong. And: so much more to come!! Helen and Moe are having another Vinyl Throw Down, which will most likely be as successful as the one we had in April. SOS in N. Myrtle Beach with the Party at Ducks and dancing on the Beach, an Oktoberfest/Halloween Picnic brought to you by Kathy and Jan, our annual Charity Dance with the Beach Music Hall of Famer’s, Subway Show Band and the Christmas Dinner Dance with chairpersons, Ramona and Sandy working hard to bring you a memorable evening of good food and great music. And to round out a fantastic 2007 New Years Eve is being planned for your total enjoyment. So many fun-filled events have and will occur this year and I want to thank all the members that have given so much time and energy. There is a lot of behind the scenes that goes on to put these events together. So once again I am asking for your assistance, if only to doing the 50/50 at a dance to volunteering for help at an event. With 400 members we can use all the help you want to give.

Your Prez, Ron Evans

DANCE LESSONS AT THE ROYAL PLACE

Helen is teaching the Cha-chas for the next 6 weeks and the 1st week had more than 40 dancers learning new and/or refining their steps. Thanks to Jim Molinaro for helping and a Big thanks to him and Ramona Corey who had a full class for the previous 6 weeks in the Waltz Lessons.
