Position Purpose: / To provide maintenance, gardening services to the Community Care Units and courier services to Mercy Mental Health in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications: / Trades based or more than 5 years experience in a facilities maintenance/ gardening position.
Current Victorian driver’s license.

Key Result Areas / Key Activities / Standard Measures
Ensure the provision and implementation of customer focused maintenance, gardening and courier services. Under the supervision of clinical staff, assist CCU clients with the development of skills in relation to home and garden maintenance. /
- Contributes to Quality Improvement and RehabilitationProgram.
- Communicates information effectively.
- Executes breakdown work requests
- Executes preventatives checks as scheduled
- Provides assistance to external contractors when required.
- Sources parts and consumables as required
- Maintenance of CCU gardens.
- Collection and delivery of medical records / stores and correspondence.
- Provides quality maintenance services activitiesconsistent with the policies and procedures of MPHI.
- Reduce work request response times
- Ensure the preventative maintenance (Internal) schedule is executed on time.
- Repair and maintenance consumables ordered and delivered on as needed basis
- Daily transportation of medical records / stores and miscellaneous goods throughout mental health departments, including ad hoc deliveries to other sites.
- Improved client skills in home and garden maintenance.
