NOT GRADED COMPETITIONS
For competitions 1 – 4, horses & riders do not have to be registered with NAMEF. However these horses must be accompanied by a valid horse passport.
1. RIDING ABILITY TEST
Open to children who have not won a riding ability test two times (maximum) and who have not been placed in any Dressage/Jumping or Equitation competition. Open to horses of any grading. Running and / or standing martingale or side-reins permitted. Will be divided into different age groups if sufficient riders have entered.
FUN COMPETITION
2. FANCY-DRESS RIDES IN FLOODLIGHT
Open to all athletes. Time will be given to each rider to show him or herself to the spectators. Three jumps with a maximum height of 70cm may be jumped optionally. The costume and the way it is presented will be judged.
3. GYMKHANA GAMES:
Open to all riders and horses. Hard hat Compulsory
4. GROOMING COMPETITION:
Best turned out horse PRESENTED BY IT’S GROOM. Horses with bridle and without saddle. (Give your groom a chance to enter in a competition!)

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
- All competitions will be ridden according to the Rules & Regulations of the FEI and NAMEF.
- CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS 12 AUGUST 2013 – PAYMENT INCLUDED
- Entry fee per competition
Competition 1 -4, N$ 20.00
Competition 5 – 40, N$ 60.00
- Stabling fee is N$ 60.00 per horse for the show. Competitors must supply own feed, water troughs and bedding.
- Medical Aid Fee per rider – N$ 60.00
- Bank deposits / Direct Bank transfers shall be preferred, please use the rider’s name as reference. Please fax proof of payment together with entry form to FAX 00264 62 501195 or EMAIL

PLEASE STATE NAME AS REFERENCE
Should direct payment not be possible, cheques must be payable to Reit Club Okahandja. Completed entry forms, including birth dates of children to be sent to: Reit Club Okahandja, P.O. Box 245, Okahandja, Namibia. Entry must reach RCO on or before the entryclosing date.
Late entries will be accepted at double the entry fee – accompanied with written application.
7. Dogs must be kept on leash at all times.
8. All horses must be in possession of a valid NAMEF, SANEF or other NF horse passport & be vaccinated against African Horse Sickness and Equine Influenza, endorsed by veterinarian. Horses and riders must be registered with NAMEF, SANEF or another federation member of the FEI. The organizers may request proof. (Horses competing in competitions 1-5 must be vaccinated)
9. Horse trailers or trucks may only be parked at places allocated by the organizing committee.
10. Private accommodation cannot be arranged, if camping is required please state on entry form.
11. Neither the organizers, nor NAMEF or their officials can be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained by / to horse, by / to rider, the public or their property.
12. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, combine or split competitions, depending on the number of entries, amend the time schedule mentioned in the program, change the starting order of riders in competitions in case of need, and postpone or cancel the tournament in part or totally, in case of unforeseen or special circumstances.
13. Tack and bits must comply with the relevant NAMEF rules and regulations.
14. Any horse may not compete in more than 4 competitions on any 1 day
(excluding competitions 1 - 4)
RETURN OF FLOATING TROPHIES
Floating trophies have to be returned cleaned by latest 7 September 2012
