The Whitman College Renaissance FaireCommittee would like to invite you to participate in the Whitman College's 45th Annual Renaissance Faire, to be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2015, from 10am to 5pm. You havereceivedthis letter because you are in our database or we were given one of your business cards. If, for any reason, you would like to be taken off of our mailing list please email Lydia Loopesko at ith the name of your business and we will remove you.
Booth spaces come in 3 sizes. A small booth space is approximately 12 ft by 10 ft and costs $25. A medium sized booth is 12 ft by 20 ft and costs $45. A large sized booth is 12 ft by 30 ft and costs $60. Non-profit organizations and merchants associated with Whitman College (students, staff, or faculty) have reduced rates of $10, $18, and $24 for the respective booth sizes. Wandering merchants have a set fee of $10. PLEASE ensure ALL of your wares, tables, etc., will fit entirely inside of your booth space--although there will be open grass behind you, we are not legally allowed to sell products on Whitman property, so you must stay on the street. Electricity is available upon request; water is also available, but must be transported (no running water hookups). Please remember capacities are limited and the earliest requests will have priority. Booths offering food must obtain a Temporary Food Service Permit and food handlers must have a Food Worker Card, both of which can be acquired through the Walla Walla County Health Department. To avoid late fees permits must be obtained no later than 1 week ahead. The Walla Walla County Health Department can be reached at:

We offer the option of renting tables and chairs at a cost of $8 per table and $1 per chair. This is an outdoor event and we cannot provide shelter from rain, sun or wind, though we greatly encourage you bring your own. We also encourage all merchants to come to Fairein a Medieval or Renaissance style costume. This is not required and costumes do not have to be strictly authentic, but it adds to the Faire atmosphere. If you need suggestions or ideas, we can provide you with information on making your own clothes or altering modern clothing.
If you are interested in participating in our Faire, please fill out the attached application and either email it to Lydia Loopesko r mail it to the address below. You can either pay on the day of faire, or include a check made out to ASWC with your application.
