Membership with the International Akaushi Registry Association
Membership with the International Akaushi Registry Association (IARA) gives you access to the range of services offered by the Association in commitment to its vision to stimulate the international promotion and production of Akaushi Beef. There are two membership levels you can choose from to suit your business.
Associate Membership
An applicant for associate membership shall be a person or company interested in the Akaushi breed or involved in associated industries such as wholesale / retail meat distribution and / or hospitality. Associate membership is not available to persons involved in the breeding and registering of Akaushi or Akaushi infused cattle.
Associate members shall be entitled to:
- Receive IARA publications and official notices
- Receive IARA communication via email
- Receive discounted member rates to events hosted by the Association
- Advertise on the IARA website
- Use IARA logo and marketing Material
Full Membership
Membership with the IARA gives you access to the full range of services provided by the Association. An applicant for membership shall be a person or company involved in the breeding and/or production of Akaushi or Akaushi infused cattle.
Members shall be entitled to all services including:
- Recording Akaushi and Akaushi cross cattle in the available registers maintained by the Association and to have their data linked to the online database.
- Discounted DNA testing through IARA endorsed laboratories
- Receive discounted member rates to events hosted by the Association
- Advertise on the IARA website
- Use IARA logo and marketing Material
How to become a member
Please fill out the Membership Application form and return it with you payment to the International Akaushi Registry Association. Once you have received official confirmation of your Membership and have been issued with a four (4) digit membership number, your information can be accessed via the online database inquiry. Please check periodically that your contact information is current. This can be done by going to member lookup on the IARA website.
Fee Schedule
Terms of Payment: The International Akaushi Registry Association operates on a cash basis. Registration fees are based on the date of the postmark indicating the date mailed by the applicant. Membership is the calendar year from January 1st to December 31st. Any information in this document is subject to periodic review and change.

2The prescribed late fees are payable when applications for registration are made on animals more than 36 months of age or transfer applications that are received by the association more than 60 days after the confirmed date of transfer/sale.

The IARA membership is the calendar year from January 1st to December 31st. Members will be invoiced for the annual subscription fee on the 1st of January each year.
