Membership Categories and rules – August 2017
Full Membership (Peak)
Unlimited golf anytime between dawn and dusk, no need to book a tee time, subject to course availability.
Regular competitions and knockout events.
New members must play in three Medal competitions before they are permitted to win a major competition.
Three fully completed score cards are required to obtain a handicap which must be signed by another member who already has a handicap.
Full use of the clubhouse at any time, use of the changing rooms.
Full voting rights.
15% discount on bar prices
Available to anyone over the age of 35.
Off Peak membership
Play after 12.30pm in Winter (Oct to March) and 2.30pm summer (April to Sept) no need to book a tee time, subject to course availability.
Ability to play in Mid Week roll up Medal and Shotgun events subject to timings above.
No Knockout events permitted.
May occasionally be permitted to play in Captains Day, Mixed Events and Charity events at other times subject to permission from the Captain and Committee.
Occasional earlier play permitted if the tee is closed in the afternoon for a society or other private event – advertised at the time.

Available to anyone over the age of 18.
11 Hole Membership
Play holes 1 to 11 only at any time dawn to dusk, no need to book a tee time, subject to course availability.
Ability to play in any advertised 9 hole competition.
Ability to obtain a handicap by submitting six 9 hole cards.
No ability to pay additional green fee to increase play to 18 holes for competition or casual play.
Full use of the clubhouse at any time, use of the changing rooms.
No voting rights.

Available to anyone over the age of 18.
Social Playing Membership
Ability to play on payment of a reduced green fee, no need to book a tee time, subject to course availability.
Play is only permitted between 8am and dusk on weekdays and 10.30am to dusk at weekends
No competition play.
No ability to obtain a handicap.
Full use of the clubhouse at any time, use of the changing rooms.
No voting rights.

Available to anyone over the age of 18.
Intermediate Membership (Under 25)
Unlimited golf anytime between dawn and dusk, no need to book a tee time, subject to course availability.
Regular competitions and knockout events.
New members must play in three Medal competitions before they are permitted to win a major competition.
Three fully completed score cards are required to obtain a handicap which must be signed by another member who already has a handicap.
Full use of the clubhouse at any time, use of the changing rooms.
Full voting rights.

Available to anyone between the ages of 18 and 25.
Intermediate Membership (Under 35)
As above but only available to persons between the ages of 26 and 35)
Junior Membership
Unlimited golf anytime between dawn and dusk on weekdays and after 11.30am (winter) and 12 noon (summer) at Weekends and bank holidays, no need to book a tee time, subject to course availability.
Regular competitions.
Junior members without a handicap can play in junior competitions but are not entitled to win.
Three fully completed score cards are required to obtain a handicap which must be signed by another member who already has a handicap.
Juniors with a handicap of 15 or better are able to play in Adult competitions subject to competition conditions.
Play may be permitted earlier at weekends if the course is closed for an event.
Juniors who play for the adult Kent League team may play earlier at weekends upon agreement of the Committee.
Full use of the clubhouse at any time, use of the changing rooms.
No voting rights.

Juniors must leave the course and clubhouse at dusk unless waiting to be collected or attending an event with a parent.
Available to anyone between the ages of 7 and 18.
Juniors under the age of 10 must be accompanied on the golf course by an adult.
Social Membership
Full use of the clubhouse, excluding changing rooms, at any time.
No playing rights
No voting rights.
15% discount on bar prices
Available to anyone over the age of 18.
Spouse Membership
Full use of the clubhouse, excluding changing rooms, at any time.
No playing rights
No voting rights.
15% discount on bar prices
Available to anyone over the age of 18 who is the partner or spouse of a member in any other adult category.
All memberships are subject to the Rules, Bye Laws, Etiquette and Dress Code Rules.
All playing categories (except Juniors) may sign in one guest before 11am and three guests thereafter.
