Roanoke College Scholars Program / Receive up to $170,000 over four years with this scholarship to Roanoke College in Salem, VA.
All scholarship semi-finalists who are invited to compete for the scholarships will receive at least $500 over four years. Final recipients will be determined primarily on their performance in the on-campus competition which includes a writing section and personal interview. / / Not Specified

Horation Alger National Scholarship Program / 104 scholarships in the amount of $20,000 to high school seniors from low-income backgrounds who are planning to pursue bachelor’s degrees. Levine Scholars Program (UNC at Charlotte) / This four-year scholarship includes full tuition, room and board, a grant to implement a self-designed service project, and four summer programs. Students must be nominated by their high school. Boston University Trustee Scholarship Competition / Trustee Scholars receive a renewable scholarship covering full tuition and fees for four years at Boston University. Jess Fisher FCSM Scholarship (Towson University) / This is a donor-funded endowed scholarship for incoming freshmen students intending to major in the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics (FCSM). The awards covers the full cost of in-state tuition and fees and is renewable up to 4 years.

Duke University Merit Scholarships / Most of Duke’s merit scholarships provide full tuition, room and board, and required fees for up to eight semesters of undergraduate study at Duke. Virginia Wesleyan College Scholars Program / Students high in both academic achievement and extracurricular involvement will be invited to campus to compete in a scholarship competition for a full tuition, room, and board scholarship. The competition includes faculty interviews and opportunities to meet campus community members. Award is renewable up to four years. Virginia Wesleyan College Scholarship and Honors Awards / These scholarships are designed to reward students for their academic achievement in high school. Awards are granted based on a combination of the student’s GPA and SAT (or ACT) scores. Awards start at $5,000 a year for any applicant with a GPA of 2.75 and 1000 (CR and M) SAT score and continue up to $14,000 for the highest Presidential Scholarship. All applicants are given scholarship consideration if they apply by the deadline and meet the criteria. All students who receive awards will automatically be enrolled in the Honors & Scholars Program upon entrance to the college. Howard County Arts Council Scholarship / NCAC is pleased to offer scholarships for students who would like to pursue a career in the arts. This year they will award a minimum of $10,000 to students who will enroll in an accredited college arts degree program. Jerome Holland Scholarship
(University of Virginia) / Approx. 5 scholarships for $20,000 each for outstanding African American students based on their academic performance, leadership capabilities, and potential as role models for their peers. Ridley Scholars Programs (University of Virginia) / The Ridley Scholarship Fund currently provides scholarships for African-American students admitted to the University of Virginia. The fund was named for the University's first African-American graduate, Dr. Walter N. Ridley in 1953. The Ridley Scholarship Selections Committee selects scholarship recipients based upon several factors: high academic performance, leadership, and community service.Admitted students apply directly to the Fund for consideration after April 1st of each year. Ridley Scholars are assigned alumni mentors and may apply to renew their scholarships contingent upon satisfying performance criteria. Thiel College Full Tuition Presidential Scholarship Competition / On January 31, 2010 Thiel College in Greenville, PA will hold its annual Presidential Scholarship Competition for high school seniors. Mount St. Mary’s Archibishop Edwin F. O’Brien Scholarship / During the 2009-2010 academic year, Mount St. Mary’s University will award two scholarships to Catholic students from the Archdiocese of Baltimore who have demonstrated academic achievement as well as leadership in parish, community, and school activities.
