Role: Director of Transformation

Qualifications: BSc Hons Physiology, Masters in Health Care Policy and Management, IHM member

Experience: I have considerable strategic experience and 20yrs operational knowledge having been an Executive Director Board member for 6 years; leading on operations, transformation and performance. I am experienced in understanding and delivering small and large scale transformational change. I have significant experience in building organisational capabilities, developing clinical managers through clinical leadership programmes, as well as team and individual coaching for clinical directors.

Description of Role: I am responsible for developing and implementing the transformation strategy for the Trust. I provide leadership and direction for the transformation agenda and co-ordinate all internal transformation activities to ensure delivery. Transformation is key for the Trust in order to continue to provide safe and high quality care, deliver the Trust’s strategic aims and objectives and promote a culture that is progressive, inclusive and values driven.

Experience: 23years in the NHS with senior management experience in operational and corporate roles within Improvement, contracting, strategy and planning.

Description of Role: I am responsible for supporting the Director of Transformation in developing the programme of transformational activities and ensuring delivery of it. This includes design and implementation of new care models by working with clinical teams, measuring improvements and quantifying benefits in terms of patient safety, quality, experience, staff experience, operational and financial efficiency. Working with the Organisational Development and Training Team we are ensuring that staff are trained and skilled in change management methods in order to transform services effectively and sustain change. In addition, I am championing "Transform Together" to share projects and learning across CMFT.

Role: Senior Programme Manager

Qualifications: Chartered Global Management Accountant, ILM5 Coaching and Mentoring, BA Hons Accountancy Studies, Prince2 Practitioner.

Experience: I have worked in the NHS for 13 years in project management, finance and general management roles, across the acute and community setting for health and social care service users. I have participated in the Health Education England – Advancing Talent Programme and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Developing Talent Programme, plus a range of other change management programmes.

Description of Role: My role is to oversee the day to day running of the Department of Transformation, supporting the creation and delivery of long term strategic plans, and operationalising them within specific programmes of work. A key focus is to embed a positive culture of change by; supporting staff to understand and embrace change, and ensuring appropriate levels of training to deliver change exist across the organisation and across all staff groups. I will lead and effect change predominantly within the elective pathway, positively challenging the norm and offering different perspectives on situations. My approach is underpinned by two clear aims which are; to make things easier or better, and to make a difference.

Experience: 25 years’ experience working within Therapy services, specialising in MSK and community services and as a Clinical Manager for Therapy Services, before moving into Quality Improvement and Programme Management roles. I have also worked for 2 years as a Quality Manager and Improvement lead for the Trust Development Authority / NHS Improvement. I have managed complex, multi-agency projects, and have considerable experience in pathway and service redesign in a variety of clinical areas and health and social care settings, with expertise in service improvement methodologies.

Description of Role: To work with Divisions to develop and implement improvement plans across the acute and community services in line with the Trust’s strategic aims and objectives, ensuring that there are appropriate plans in place which include benefit measures and agreedtimescales for delivery. To provide support and expertise to teams and individuals in the delivery of service redesign, quality improvement and sustainable change.

Role: Transformation Project Manager

Qualifications: MSc Leadership and Service Improvement (Manchester University), BSc Physiotherapy (MMU), Project Management Methodologies (General Medical Council)

Experience: 10 years’ experience working in the NHS and the General Medical Council in clinical, operational and strategic management roles. A Graduate of the NHS General Management Training Scheme, where I was based in Birmingham for 2 years, working at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group.

Description of Role: I am responsible for leading and managing a range of projects to support the “Transforming Care for the Future” Business Plan. Within my role I will be supporting Divisions to deliver on their transformation projects which set out to improve the service and experience we offer to patients. I also have a lead role on managing the Transform Together Fund, an initiative which allows staff to apply for up to £5K to support a transformation project in their area.

Qualifications: MSc In Business with Information Technology, BSc (Hons) in Economics and Administrative Sciences, PRINCE2 Practitioners.

Experience: 3 years of NHS project support & coordination experience (IT and change projects) at CMFT and 8 years of project management(and event organisation) experience delivering community & neighbourhood renewal and regeneration projects.

Description of Role: I am responsible for supporting the management and delivery of a range of transformation projects and helping the Transformation Team meet the commitments set out in the 2015/2016 Business Plan. My role also entails supporting the staff and patient engagement aspects of the projects and organising learning events.

Role: PA to the Chief Transformation Officer

Qualifications: Business and Administration NVQ level 2, ECDL

Experience:.I started my Business and Administration apprenticeship within the private sector in 2014 and moved to the Professional Development and Education Team at CMFT in 2015.

Description of Role: My role within the Transformation Team is to provide PA and administrative support to the Chief Transformation Officer and project and administrative support to other members of the Transformation Team.
