Wigmore Youth U/18 v U/18 Wanderers 30/10/16 commendation for league appointed referee, Nicola Quayle ‘It was an absolute pleasure for my coaching staff, team and I to meet Nicola Quayle, our referee, on Sunday 30th October 2016. She is a very pleasant and polite person and refereed the game to, in my opinion, an extremely high standard. Please pass on our praise and best wishes to her for controlling, what could have been a very difficult game, in a very calm, assured and professional manner. I would like to see her encouraged to take her refereeing as far as she can as she would be a massive credit to the sphere of officials and football in general. (manager Wigmore Youth U/18)
League appointed referee Angela Hill ‘Just got back from my U18's game.
I must say it was a great game and both sets of players were outstanding! To walk away at the end and get players compliment you about your game, makes it worth the while being a ref. Well done to Horsted Youth and Wigmore Youth. Until the next time. keep playing great football.’
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT:
Hope all enjoyed the 1/2 term break and remembered to put your clocks back and are ready for the run in to Xmas.
Emergency referees on the day are a last resort and cannot be a regular thing every home game - if qualified/registered one not available ask the opponents prior to or on match day if they have a ref available - emergency referees on the day have same authority/jurisdiction as a qualified one.
Would all secretaries please remind managers of the guidance for marking referees. If you are not aware these can be found by looking on the KFA website at www.kentfa.com
Look under Referee Information and Regulations and then select a Club marking of Referees
Please remember a mark of 60 or lower requires a report within 7 days of the fixture and should be sent, in the first instance, to the age group registration secretary Rule 11F refers - a mark of 0 is not acceptable
Marking 60 and below - The referee demonstrated shortcomings in the accuracy of decision making and control which affected the game.
Low marks received and logged:
2/10/16 U16 Div2 Wigmore Youth v Riverview United from Riverview United
9/10/16 U18 Div 1 Wigmore Youth Wanderers v Wigmore Youth from Wigmore Youth
16/10/16 U9 New Ash Green v Thamesview from Thamesview
In cases of concern reports would be referred to Nick Dunn at Kent F.A. and you will be informed in such instances. The League has no power to change a referee decision or make direct contact with a referee to discuss performance or conduct.
