Thank you for your interest in the Medical University Women's Club scholarships. Applications are accepted from full-time MUSC students in their second and/or continuing years. An MUSC transcript covering at least one year is required. This transcript may be informal or formal (sealed).Your personal information, transcript and faculty reference are all considered. All must be received by 4 PM, Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Scholarship winners will be notified by September 9, 2017 and recognized at the MUWC Fall Coffee on September 13th. We make every effort to expedite the evaluation process so that applicants can be informed of our awards. All materials will be held in strict confidence.

Please provide information outlining your qualifications on each of the following criteria. Financial need, academic performance, and community/university service are required to be addressed. Please type answer to the following questions and submit that document via email, along with the application form on page one, to . Also please have an MUSC faculty member submit a letter of recommendation to the same email address.

  1. ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND ACHIEVEMENTS: Please describe and also provide your MUSC transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable).
  1. COMMUNITY and MUSC SERVICE ACTIVITIES IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS. Please submit a copy of your MUSC Gives Back report documenting your community service hours and list any other community service.
  1. PROVIDE A PERSONAL STATEMENT (up to 150 words): Is there anything you would like the Committee to take into consideration in evaluating your application?
