Medical insurance
Allegiance®provides medical insurance for UniWyo FCU Employees. UniWyo FCU pays the full premium for full time employees. To add dependants, the employee’s responsibility is:

Coverage:
After meeting the deductible, the employee’s co-pay amount is 20%. There is also a feature benefit of $35co-pay for office visits and $75 co-pay for specialist office visits.
Prescription drug coverage
Employees have prescription drug coverage if they are under UniWyo FCU’s medical insurance. UniWyo FCU’s pharmacy benefit manager is Innoviant. Innoviant has a mail order service from which participants can order maintenance drugs and have a 90 day supply.

dental insurance
Delta Dental®is the dental insurance provider for UniWyo FCU employees. Dental insurance is provided to those who have UniWyo FCU medical insurance.
Deductible: $50-individual, $150-Family
Maximum Benefit $1,000 per insured, per calendar year
Preventive services are covered at 100%, basic services are covered at 80%, and major services are covered at 50%. Orthodontic procedures are covered at 50% up to $1,000 per eligible dependant.
VISION COVERAGE
VSP® is the vision insurance provider for UniWyo FCU. Vision coverage comes with the medical insurance that is available to eligible employees. The vision benefit includes:
- One exam every 12 months($10 copay)
- Prescription Glasses every 12 months ($25 copay) and Frames(every 24 months, $150 allowance for a frame of your choice)
- Single vision, lined bifocal, lined trifocal, and progressive lenses
- Anti-reflective coating
- Scratch coating
- Polycarbonate lenses for dependent children
- Contact Lens Care every 12 months ($150 allowance for contacts and the contact lens exam)
- 20% off additional glasses and sunglasses, including lens options, 15% off costs of contact lens exam
You get the best value from your benefit when you see a VSP doctor.
Flexible Benefits Plan
Section 125 allowing employees to set aside funds to pay for health or dependent care expenses on a “before-tax” basis.
term life insurance
UniWyo FCU provides regular full-time employees a life insurance benefit equal to the amount of their annual salary up to $175,000.
SHORT-TERM DISABILITY
Monthly rates are based on a percentage of your gross wages. Premiums are split 25/75. (Optional-employee paid)
long term disability
UniWyo FCUprovides long-term disability to all regular employees who work 30 hours per week or more.
Deferred
Compensation
(after 6 months)
UniWyo FCU offers a traditional 401 (k) or Roth 401 (k) deferred compensation plans to all regular employees who work 30 hours per week or more. CUNA Mutual is the administrator of the deferred compensation plan.
Defined Benefit Retirement Plan
(after 6 months)
All regular full-time employees are eligible to participate in the Defined Benefit Retirement Plan. UniWyo FCU pays for 100% of the contributions. The vesting period is 6 years.
Fee Waiver
UniWyo FCU provides the employee with a fee waiver for 3 credit hours, per semester, at the University of Wyoming. (This is at an instate tuition rate and prorated for part time employees.)
Ticket Discount
UniWyo employees are eligible for the same discount on season football and basketball tickets as the UW staff.
Facility Access
UniWyo employees are able to purchase access to Half-Acre gym and Corbett pool.
$500 Interest free clothing loan
UniWyo FCU offers a $500 interest free clothing loan for the purchase of professional clothing to be worn at work. The loan is interest free and a minimum payment of $25 will be made by payroll deductions each month until the loan is paid off. If employment is terminated and a balance remains on the loan, the loan then becomes interest bearing at the appropriate rate.
$1000 Interest free Computer loan (after 6 months)
UniWyo FCU offers a $1000 interest free computer loan for the purchase of a home computer. The loan is interest free and a minimum payment of $56 will be made by payroll deductions each month until the loan is paid off. If employment is terminated and a balance remains on the loan, the loan then becomes interest bearing at the appropriate rate.
