·The images must not be used in a feature other than the one the media has applied for. If you want to use the image for a different media activity please re-apply for approval.

·If any of the images may feature on the cover of a magazine or other similar publication please contact us in advance.

·When featuring any of the images on a website, please ensure images are copy-guarded (no right-click, no download).

·When your final draft is ready for print/release, please send a copy to the NACT Office of Communications and International Affairs for final approval (FAX or E-mail).

·Please provide a copy, a link to the internet page, or a DVD of the publication/feature. Digital format (PDF, URL, etc.) accepted.

In order to lend press images the National Art Center, Tokyo asks the borrower to fill out some personal informationand to agree to the following terms.

NACT Image Lending Terms

①Use of press images is limited to publications / television programs intended for the promotion of the NACT or of an exhibition held by / at the NACT.

②When featuring press images, the NACT’s name, its location, opening hours, closed days, inquiries and the respective credits must be included.

③The images must not be used in a feature other than the one the media has applied for. If you want to use the images again for a different media activity please re-apply for approval.

④Please send the draft of the publication / program to the NACT Office of Communications and International Affairs () for final approval.

⑤Do not modify the images (please consult us if you wish to trim, use only part of an image, or add text to an image). It is strictly prohibited to duplicate or distribute the press images for any other purpose than those stated at ①. Use for commercial purpose or for any other purpose not explicitly approved by these terms is strictly prohibited.

⑥Press images are protected by copyright. Upon approval, mass media are allowed to use the images. In instances where an application form has been filled out with false information and in cases where the press images have been downloaded by someone not representing any mass media approved in the application, the NACT may seek compensation for any damage caused.
