RICHARDSON, Texas, April 28, 2016— The tech community honors the most impactful contributions to the advancement of technology innovation in North Texasthrough the Tech Titans awards. Nominations for consideration are winding up with a deadline of Friday, May 13.

“Tech Titans awards are the premier recognition of companies and individuals who are changing the landscape for technology that benefits the North Texas economy and consumers both now and in the future,” said Tech Titans awards committee chairman Chris Croupe, senior director of corporate strategy at Nokia. “We look forward to showcasing true leaders in our industry and celebrating their hard work and creativity.”

Categories include those for inventors, advocates, adopters, and emerging companies. Applicants for the awards are not required to work for traditional technology companies in all categories. Groundbreaking tech innovations happen across a range of industries. Past winners have included hospitals, transportation, and consumer companies. Fast-growing tech companies will also enjoy a spot in the limelight with the Fast Tech awards.
