Media Sneak Peek at Woodbine Park in The Beach!

Incredible Aerialists, High Skill Circus Act, Vaudevillian Juggler and

a 5-time Guinness World Record Holder!

WHAT Media are invited to attend a Sneak Peek for the 17th annual Toronto International BuskerFest for Epilepsy, for the first time in its new location of Woodbine Park. A variety of world-class acts will give media a taste of what the festival has in store the day before the festival starts. The festival runs throughout the Labour Day weekend, Sept 2-5.

WHO Media personality Steve Anthony welcomes everyone to the 17th annual Toronto BuskerFest.

Performers:

Mat Ricardo (UK) – the gentleman juggler presents genuine danger, dexterous elegance and breathtaking spectacle.

Pancho Libre (Mexico)– A spectacular, high-skilled acrobatic act, full of circus, fire, martial arts and humour.

Cirque No Problem (Israel) - inspired by the ambiance and characters of the traveling circus companies of the 1920-30's, this comedy show combines the traditional and the modern circus

Victor Rubilar (Argentina) - With 18 international awards under his belt, 5 Guinness World Records and shows in 42 countries, he is a true international busking star.

MaracaTALL (Canada / Brazil) - A high energy, high impact stilt drumming troupe, with colourful costumes and choreography that can be seen & heard over 100m away.

WHERE Woodbine Park in The Beach (1695 Queen St. E – in the field by the Gazebo, near the corner of Lakeshore & Coxwell)

There is free parking in the Large Lot on the North side of the park on Thursday - entrance off of Eastern Ave.

Live Eyes can enter the park through entrance on Coxwell and park there.

WHY Since its inception in 2000, Toronto International BuskerFest for Epilepsy has featured hundreds of the best street performers from around the world, hosted millions of amazed spectators and helped raise much-needed funds for Epilepsy Toronto. BuskerFest is the largest Epilepsy awareness-raising event in the world. Guests are asked to donate at the gate to Epilepsy Toronto. Buskers retain proceeds from “the hat” passed after their performances except for special group benefit shows, where all proceeds go to Epilepsy Toronto
