1.  Completed application form (this page);

2.  Current transcript from http://my.unt.edu; and

3.  Deposit check for $190.00 payable to UNT. Your check will be deposited within one business day of receipt. If you have not met the prerequisites for the class, a refund will be requested. Please note that the refund will be credited to your UNT account – not as a direct payment to you. A deposit indicates you are serious about taking the class; money spent on your behalf cannot be refunded.

4.  A registration code for MDSE 4002 will be given to you upon verification of prerequisites and approval of your application.

MDSE 4002: Dallas Study Tour

This course is designed to engage students in an intense study of an area pertinent to the field of merchandising. Dallas serves as a prime venue for those pursuing a career in merchandising. Students will experience the fashion and home furnishings industries through visits to manufacturing facilities, retail establishments, retail corporate offices, and industry support organizations.

Class will meet each Friday during the semester. We will travel to the Dallas area on nine of the Fridays and will meet on campus from 9:00 to noon on the remaining days. Transportation will be provided via chartered bus leaving the Denton campus at 8:00 am and returning to Denton at noon. All students will be required to travel on the bus.

The approximate cost of the tour
will be $190.00*

* The advertised price may fluctuate depending on the number of students registering for the course and other external unforeseen factors.
