MAXIMISING THE NEW PE FUNDING
IN BRADFORD'S PRIMARY SCHOOLS
A FREE WORKSHOP FOR BRADFORD DISTRICT SCHOOLS
9.30 AM TO 11.30 AM TUESDAY 23rd APRIL, BRADFORD CITY AFC, VALLEY PARADE, BRADFORD
The government’s desire to create a sporting legacy following the London Olympics has led to a number of significant announcements in relation to Primary School PE and School Sport. These include: ‘ring fenced’ funding for primary provision, changes to the inspection of school sport & the publication of the draft programme of study for PE. These announcements represent significant reform which will affect the provision of PE and school sport for all Primary Schools.
You are invited to attend this innovative workshop to find out more and discuss the implications and opportunities for your school. Importantly you will have the opportunity to influence how PE and school sport will be developed strategically across the district. This is a Bradford based event and will focus on local issues and opportunities. Presenters will look at how we can maximise the impact of the new PE funding to deliver Education, Health and Personal Development benefits for all pupils as well as for sport.
