New ministry schedules will be available by the third week of September. The Liturgy Committee sends sincere thanks to all ministers for your continued dedication to your ministry.

Garden Party Collection

In your bulletin you will find an envelope that you may use to make a donation to the Parish Garden Party. As you know the Parish has not held a Garden Party for some years. In its place we have distributed envelopes to Parishioners to make a donation. This year, as you can all see, we are undertaking a major renovation to St. Joseph’s Church. This renovation plus major repairs to the furnace are intended to make our place of worship more comfortable. We ask that you give generously. Envelopes are also available at the back of the church. Thank You.

Refugee Family

Our diocese has been advised that a family of refugees from Iraq has been given final approval to settle in Newfoundland, sponsored by the Diocese of Grand Falls. The family consists of a mother, father and a three year old girl. They will be arriving in Newfoundland on September 21 and will be settling in Clarenville. Thank you to everyone who financially supported this endeavour, prayed for a positive outcome and assisted in any way. A special word of thanks goes to Our Lady of Fatima Parish and the people of Clarenville who are preparing to receive this family. As far as is known, the family will arrive with only what they can carry with them. They will continue to need your support and prayers. Fr. Colbert

Catechetical Program

The Catechetical Program will soon be starting. Please contact Judy McCarthy, her contact information is on the front of the bulletin.
