Knockmore Boxing Club: Congrats. to the 8 boxers who won their contest in the 2nd Annual Kelly Cup tournament last Sat. - Shea Pye, Ciaran Brogan, Ann-Lisa Sweeney, Aidan Gaughan, Jason Butler Walsh, Eric Nash Jason Sweeney and Tadhg Mc Gowan. Eric Nash was awarded the Kelly Cup for best boxer. The Club will host the Mayo Schoolboy championships on the 1st & 2nd Dec. in Knockmore.
Community Games: AGM will be held in the Resource Centre on Tues. next (13th Nov) at 8 pm. Persons over 18 years who are interested in getting involved are invited to attend. Help is required as numerous new events will be introduced this year if possible.
Special Mass – to mark the Jubilees of Msgr. Sean Killeen (50), Canon John Flynn (65), & Fr. Robert Ruttledge (60) will be held in Knockmore Church on Sun. Nov. 25th at 5pm followed by light refreshments in the Community Hall. No presents expected – just your presence at the Mass.
