Marketing & Design Manager

Arizona Polymer Flooring, a manufacturer of high performance concrete coatings systems in Phoenix, is currently seeking a Marketing & Design Manager. The candidate for this position needs to be a highly capable, self-starting, resourceful and dynamic individual that has experience and expertise in managing the marketing and design needs of a well-established small business and can handle the design needs. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for implementing and managing all strategic marketing and design plans set forth.

Marketing & Design Management Responsibilities

  • Management and negotiation of yearly advertising schedules
  • Exploring new opportunities for advertising that align with APF’s target groups and vertical markets
  • Managing the brand integrity of APF and all of its major brands
  • Product and brand positioning
  • Managing and implementation of major brand and product launches
  • Direct liaison to APF’s online marketing agency of record and Public Relations Manager
  • Responsible for all press releases, newsletters and external communications
  • Responsible for internal communications regarding marketing and design
  • Management and maintenance of APF’s websites
  • Supervision of all social media activity and providing timely content to agency for implementation
  • Responsible for management and maintenance of all marketing collateral, tradeshow materials, promotional items and wearables
  • Event planning and coordination with Sales Director of tradeshows
  • Maintenance, development and design of all printed marketing collateral; brochures, banners, advertisements, tradeshow booth materials, presentations, product labels, promotional items, etc.

Required Skills

  • Solid knowledge and experience with Adobe Design Suite including Adobe DC; print design experience
  • Excellent creative design skills
  • Product branding experience
  • Experiencing with product and brand launches
  • Social media management skills
  • Event and tradeshow planning experience
  • Experience overseeing web development and site launches as well as content management for website maintenance
  • Excellent written communications and content writing abilities
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement comprehensive solutions

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is preferred
  • Formal print design training required
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and design fields
