- 1. “Read daily with child and provide time for independent reading”
- Clarify what this looks like in each grade level
- 1. Provide workshops for parents to connect with teachers to learn how they are teaching the curriculum
- 2. “Student-Led conferences bi-annually”
- Share student goals with parents during conferences, and include tasks they can do at home to reach their goals
- 2. Clarify “failing” – below 70 grade average
- 3. Include Parent Portal
- For next year: Consider changing Communication Folders to Wednesday Folders (instead of Tuesday)
- 5. Provide a VIPS Coordinator as POC for parents interested in getting involved
- Parent Responsibilities: Embrace cultural differences and teach child to speak and act in respectful ways
- Student Responsibilities: Do not engage in any time of bullying, act respectfully towards peers

- Suggestion: Contact Levin’s dad to see if he can donate frozen snacks again – croissants, pastries
