  • Managed the Marine Corps force protection equipment, procedures in Iraq and Afghanistan by forecasting, inventorying, distributing, resupplying, and conducted inspections at all locations to insure all units were supplied and trained with all required equipment. Conducted as the Force Protection Officer, command assessments on 350 defensive positions in both Iraq, Afghanistan resulting in zero successful attacks on coalition positions covering 3 one year deployments
  • Supervised and managed the training, distribution, utilization, and maintaining inventory on over 800 pieces of Counter Improvised Explosive Devises (CIED) and Force Protection equipment for2nd Marine Division units in Afghanistan as the subject matter expert
  • Administrated, managed, budgeted by inventorying, tracking, forecasting, distributing, resupplying, and inspecting all ordnance, weapon systems, optics equipment inventories for the 14 NATO coalition forces within 2nd Marine Division area of operations in Afghanistan meeting U.S. NATO standards for storage safety procedures

OPERATIONS

  • Conducted multiple freight route deliveries ofover 100 miles in distance in a safe matter as train conductor in charge of trains over 7,000 feet long, consisting of over 100 cars, weighing over 6K tons.
  • Planned, coordinated and conducted multiple events for Large Scale Exercise - 1 / Javelin Thrust as exercise designer / training analyst. Created two chapters of the large scale exercise standard operation procedures.Training force consisted of a Marine Expeditionary Brigade consisting of 5,000+Marines and 100 Canadian Army soldiers. The Exercise comprised live fire, simulated and virtual training events.
  • Directed a 5 member training team in planning, coordinating and conducting the “LIONESS” Women Combat and Cultural Skills program to augment 6 units’ with150 women contraband inspectors.
  • Coordinated, conducted and supervised combined arms training and fire and maneuver operations for an 800 member infantry battalion by constructing and adhering to surface danger zones, developing operational risk management matrices, planning and de-conflicting indirect and direct live fire exercises.

TRAINING

  • Developed event scenarios, assisted with exercise control, developed and refined the scenarios. Conducted data based development of the model and simulation data base. Trained 400+ senior logistics officers and staff non-commissioned officers during 9 exercises
  • Taught and evaluated student instructors at Instructional Management School Westfor1 year;course program of studyencompassed the Systems Approach to Training “SAT”, platform instruction, curriculum development. Graduated 1,500 students
  • Supervised 30 faculty and instructors of the Infantry Platoon Sergeant’s Course and Infantry Squad Leader’s Course at the School of Infantry West for 1 year and graduating 2,500 students
  • Conducted initial orientation training in Iraq for 18 incoming rotational units of 18K service members. Curriculum included Counter Sniper techniques and procedures, force protection equipment/ weapons employment and escalation of force procedures in Iraq
  • Designed, constructed and managed the Fallujah Iraq 7 range weapons training complex utilized by 18 Multi-National Force-West Joint units to accommodate systems up to anti tank weapons while supervising 12 range personnel to enforce regulations
  • Coordinated Division combined arms live fire and maneuver operation “Steel Knight” 2020 consisting of 8,800 + Marines and 2,000 Australian Tankers; assured adherence to multiple surface danger zones, developed operational risk management matrices, evaluated safety considerations and de-conflicted live fire ranges with no class “A” mishaps
