Addition information for NCCL Representative Council:

In Las Vegas, I pay particular attention to the rural communities, numbering seven, through teaching catechist formation courses and assisting catechetical leaders in program development.

Budget management, while not a favorite activity, is something that demands attention. I do my best to be a good steward of the resources in the department. I continue to seek funding from local Catholic funding sources so the on-going formation of leaders & catechists continue.

One passion of mine is ministerial formation. I worked with Ed Gordon & Jo Rotunno in the beginning stages of Echoes of Faith and am waiting for the on-line version, in both languages, to make it more accessible to catechists & catechetical leaders.

Marketing has been an issue that I’ve raised in the past. NCCL must be seen if membership is to grow. After a long absence NCCL was an exhibitor at the 2014LA Congress staffed by the provinces of Los Angeles & San Francisco, with other members. Of the many who stopped by the booth nearly all were unaware that NCCL existed or its mission. This must be addressed. The leadership should plan for NCCL to exhibit at archdiocesan catechetical events using local members to staff the table/booth.
