Map and Instructions for Back Car Pool at Dismissal. Important, Pick up Only!

MAP AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR BACK CAR POOL AT DISMISSAL. IMPORTANT, PICK UP ONLY!

All cars using back carpool for pick up only will enter the lot using Marywood Lane. All parking spots will be filled following the instructions below. Once all parking spots are filled, students will be dismissed.

• Parents/Guardians should try to be in a parking spot by 2:40. (Once student dismissal has started, incoming traffic will be stopped until the first wave of parked cars has exited.)
• Students will begin dismissing at 2:45.
• Parents/Guardians with ECDC students should park in the rows closest to ECDC and the first four rows in front of the Middle School.
• Parents/Guardians with ECDC students should come to the sidewalk with their carpool sign. ECDC students may not leave the building until a teacher sees their Parent/Guardian and excuses them.
• Students coming from grades 2 – 4 that have a sibling in ECDC will meet their parents on the sidewalk in front of ECDC.
• Parents/Guardians with both Middle School and ECDC students park in the ECDC area.
• Parents/Guardians with only Middle School Students should park in the half of the parking lot closest to the playground, leaving the first four rows open for ECDC Parent/Guardians and a fifth row open.
• Middle School Students will walk to their cars at dismissal.
• Please get all of your riders buckled in and ready to leave quickly and safely.
• Once all students are safely in their cars, faculty will begin directing cars to exit, column by column.
• It is very important that no students or Parents/Guardians are walking through the parking lot once cars begin to exit.
• If you do not have your student by the time the first wave is exiting, tell a faculty member that is directing traffic and they will give you further instructions. You maybe directed to get back in line and park with the second wave.
• Once all of thefirst wave has left the parking lot, additional cars will be let in to start the second wave. All of the second wave should park in front of ECDC as Middle School students will be waiting there.
• AFTER all of the cars from the first wave have exited and second waveis parked, Parents/Guardians will get out of their cars to retrieve their students.
• Please do not park in the St. Joseph’s lot. You will be unable to exit at either end until dismissal is over.
• Students not picked up by 3:10pm will be taken to After School Care. These students can be picked up at the After School Care entrance/exit. This entrance is located at the far side of the building and enters into the Middle School hallway.
