Information for students and parents
CARNIVAL ORGANISATION
Transport and general supervision
Students can walk or be driven straight to the pool. Students who arrive at school as normal will walk to the pool from 8:45am supervised by teachers.
At 2:40pm students who are returning to school to catch buses etc. will make their way back to school under the supervision of staff members. Remaining students will be dismissed at 2:50pm. There will be supervision at the pool until 3:25pm while students are waiting to be picked up by parents. Usual supervision arrangements will be in place at school from 2:50pm until the final bus leaves.
Roll call will be held at the pool at 9.00am – 9.20am and again at 2.15pm – 2.35pm.
Sports uniform or house colours are to be worn to the carnival.
Fraser (A – E) = Green, McMullen (F-L) = Yellow, Scobie-Hughes (M – R) = Red, Waddy-Portus (S – Z) = Blue.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING SWIMMERS, TOWEL, HAT, SUNSCREEN AND DRINKS.
Canteen will be available to students throughout the day.
The following 4 events will beheld at 8:30am for all age groups / 1. Girls 200m Freestyle
2. Boys 200m Freestyle
3. Girls 200m Individual Medley
4. Boys 200m Individual Medley
All other events will commence at 9:20am. Including the Champion of Champions event at approximately 1:00pm.
Please note: During the day there will be structured aquatic activities organised where ALL students will have the opportunity to earn important points for their house.
ZONE TEAM: The Zone Team will be selected on heat times – NO FINALS.
