Purpose
Use this procedure to add, modify or delete from the CFDA table.
Trigger
Perform this procedure when a CFDA number needs to be added, modified or deleted from the CFDA table.

Business Process Information
CFDA numbers are assigned by Federal agencies to their funded programs. These numbers are entered on the grant master record and are required for A133 audits and identification of the agency funding a grant.

- The R/O/C column in the field description tables below defines whether the field is required (R), optional (O), or conditional (C).
- On certain screens you may have to scroll to view some data entry fields.

1. / Start the transaction using the transaction code.
Display View "GM: CFDA code maintenance": Overview
2. / Click .
3. / Click .
New Entries: Overview of Added Entries
4. / As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field / R/O/C / Description
Catalog of…. / Required / The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) is a list of assistance programs administered by agencies of the United States federal government. The CFDA Number identifies the program and is used in the award documents for that program. This number is required for A133 audit reports.
Example:
93.856
The CFDA Number is entered in this field.
CFDA Description / Required / Name of the federal agency assigned to the CFDA number

5. / Click .

7. / Enter the new description.
8. / Click to save.
