Writer-producer-director Perry joins a cast of fan favorites including Cassi Davis (TV’s “House of Payne”), Palmer E. Williams Jr. (TV’s “House of Payne”), Chandra Currelley-Young (Diary of a Mad Black Woman), Cheryl Pepsii Riley (Madea Goes to Jail play) and more. Featuring nine original songs written by Tyler Perry and Elvin Ross, the DVD and Blu-ray Disc also contain two bonus featurettes, “A Big Happy Family” and “Working With a Walking, Talking, Breathing Legend.” The play, which toured the US this year, arrives on all formats on November 23rd, timed to the Blu-ray Disc debut of five of Tyler Perry’s theatrical films- Diary of a Mad Black Woman, The Family That Preys, Madea Goes to Jail, Madea’s Family Reunion and Why Did I Get Married?.
The next generation of Madea’s (Perry) family has a lot to learn, and the family matriarch is about to show them just how much.
